SARA’s software, designated as SARA tech, is a software system addressing professional management of environmental data, providing tools for administrating environmental liability under the Environmental Liability Directive – ELD, in the early phase of the evaluation process. SARA tech provides a flexible tool that is customized for specific customer needs.

SARA tech stores baseline information as well as industrial hazard scenarios, both geographic and numerical data, which can be accessed and visualized for analysis to support proper decision processes based on potential environmental risks.

In-situ environmental and occupational activities data, including real time monitoring, are crossed with previously established thresholds (e.g. maximum valve pressure, or maximum emission value) for (imminent threat of) environmental damages. Instant alerts are displayed to notify selected stakeholders, keeping accurate trace of the potential environmental risks involved.

The company is able to manage this information in order to identify and conduct administrative, control, prevention and mitigation actions. SARA tech assists operators to better comply with ELD requirements, supporting the evaluation of abnormal situations regarding whether they are covered under ELD.
