The kick-off meeting of the SARAe project took place on the October 8, 2008, in the VIP Grand Lisboa Hotel.

The meeting has included the presence of all team members, namely the project partners as Portucel Setúbal, the competent authority for the environmental liability national diploma (Portuguese Environment Agency), Setúbal and Sesimbra Ports Administration Authority, Civil Protection National Authority and the consultants team.

This project is approved by the System of Incentives for Research and Technological Development (SI I&DT) of the National Strategic Reference Framework (QREN), co-funded by European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) through the Operational Program Competitiveness Factors (POFC).
